Additional Members to VITC Advisory Council

The Vermont Information Technology Center is pleased to announce the addition of the following new members to its Advisory Council:

Scott Carbee
Scott Carbee is the Chief Instructor for the VT Army National Guard Information Operations School. A key component of this training is Computer Network Defense for members of the Armed Forces. Mr. Carbee has broad-based experience in technology management and network administration from both the public and private sectors. His most recent experience was as the Technology Administrator for a school district in MA.


Thomas Murray
Thomas Murray is the new Deputy Commissioner for the Department of Economic Development. A fourteen year veteran of the telecommunications industry, Murray has worked for TDS Telecom in Northfield, and most recently Unicel, in Colchester. Murray began service in state government directing telecommunications policy development in the Agency of Commerce and Community Development. In his current role as Director of Telecommunications Infrastructure, he is the point person in state government in the Governor?s efforts to advance broadband and wireless services in Vermont.
