Telework Impact & Opportunities: Best Practices and Current Issues, June 3 & 4, 2004, at Stoweflake Resort, Stowe, Vermont

This national conference will focus on the need for employers to create work at home employment opportunities geared to meet the changing needs of the workforce. It includes a full description of the pilot studies, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Labor, to assist unemployed persons and persons with disabilities to work from their homes.
Businesses considering hiring or creating a remote workforce, HR managers who assist in the management of workforces at home, economic development professionals, employers with a disabled workforce, community action agencies and employers who currently have a teleworkforce in place are encouraged to attend.
Keynote speakers include Robert Brostrom, Assistant Secretary from the Office of Disability Employment Policy in the US Department of Labor, Joanne Pratt from Pratt & Associates on Implementing a Cost/Benefit Analysis for a Corporate Telework Program and Gil Gordon of Gil Gordon & Associates on The Future of Telework in America.
