Entrepreneurship Workshop to be held at UVM
A workshop designed for college students and faculty members who are interested in exploring opportunities for starting their own businesses. If you have an idea for a business but just don?t know how to get started, this is the right workshop for you.
Surely today?s grads face an interesting job market vastly different in every way from their parents? generation. While job security may seem like an oxymoron these days, there continues to be exciting opportunities for the creative and resourceful entrepreneur.

Burlington is replete with examples of local college graduates staying in Burlington after graduation and starting businesses. What does it take to be a successful entrepreneur? What are the qualities of your ideas and how do they fit into today?s economy? How do I go about starting?
Come spend two hours with us on Saturday, April 3 from 1:30 p.m. ? 3:30 p.m., at Kalkin Hall, The School of Business Administration at the University of Vermont, Room 001. Derek Cohen of the Small Business Development Center will help you explore these questions and more. The event is free.
